The Costa del Sol offers wonderful opportunities for boating, which is a popular pastime. The possibilities range from luxury power boats or yachts to modest dinghies. If you don’t own a boat you can hire one in most marinas for a hour, a day or even a week. If you own a boat it must be moored at one of the coast’s marinas. Fishing trips are also available from most fishing ports and marinas.

This is the largest marina on the Costa del Sol and it has mooring for 960 boats, which includes private mooring for owners of apartments on the artificial islands.
Fuengirola
The port is in the central part of town and it has mooring for 225 boats.
Malaga
As well as the huge port where some of the world’s largest cruise ships dock, Malaga also has two small marinas.
Club Mediterraneo
Has 40 berths.
Puerto Deportivo El Candado (8 east of the city) This is the base for the sailing club.
Vélez-Malaga
Caleta de Vélez has 238 moorings.
