The routes will begin to operate again towards the end of March
The airline Ryanair announced this Thursday that as from the last week of March, the routes that connect Valladolid with Milan and Malaga will start to operate again. This way, “the airport’s offer for the summer season will increase”, they assured. “In total, Ryanair will be operating six routes next summer, assuring the good results achieved by the Valladolid airport in 2011”, the airline informed.
From early July to the beginning of the season, the controversial low cost company Ryanair has opened another route to Malaga airport, which is the gateway of a large number of tourists spending their holidays on the Costa del Sol and southern Andalucia.
The increase in passengers experienced at Malaga airport during the first 5 months of this year is partly due to the low cost carrier Ryanair. Since establishing a base of operations in June 2010 at the popular Costa del Sol airport, the controversial Irish company has experienced an increase of 92%.
