The never-ending activity of Robert Trent Jones found its highlight with the opening of Las Brisas Golf Club in 1968, which has hosted world and regional championships on several occasions since its conception. This North American designed a course in which long drives alone don't suffice, but rather continuous smart play. No less than ten stream-fed, artificial lakes and abundant bunker protection around mainly elevated greens have caused this course to gain distinction as a difficult and attractive course.
