Opened in the late 70’s, Los Naranjos (The Orange Trees, found in abundance throughout the complex) has the watermark of designer Robert Trent Jones – broad fairways, numerous sand & water traps, and large greens – and claims a spot in the top courses of the Costa del Sol. Notable is the night-and-day dichotomy apparent in the main divisions: the front nine are suitable for most any golfer, but the back nine offer a tough run even for pros.
Los Naranjos is also well-known for its facilities, especially for the exceptional fare offered in The Restaurant, along with a multitude of others: well-equipped Pro shop, professional club fitting service, hairdressing and spa services, and golf instruction.
