La Quinta opened in 1989 and presents 27 championship holes designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido and former Ryder Cup Player and 3-time world champion, Manuel Piñero. The holes are split into three sections, Courses A/B/C, which can be combined flexibly to play 18. The narrow, rolling nature of the fairways and technical greens lend to a serious test of any golfer’s skills, often limiting these courses to experienced players.
La Quinta has been the venue for the Andalucian PGA, Open Larios and the charity Pro-Am Protagonistas tourney. It is also home to La Quinta Golf Academy, managed by Piñero himself.
