The Guadalmina complex is comprised of 2 full eighteen-hole courses and a short nine-hole round.
Guadalmina South: This is the oldest and toughest of the long courses. It was designed by Javier Arena in 1959 and is famous for its difficulty, despite the irony of its wide fairways and the absence of rough or water hazards.
Guadalmina North: This course was designed by Folco Nardo and opened in 1973. It is shorter and hillier than the south course and has several artificial lakes. It requires a precise drive through the middle of the fairways so as not to end up in one of the many water hazards, including the Guadalmina River which divides the two main courses.
