Malaga is one of the major destinations for lovers of sun and beach tourism, a coastal province in which we can access a variety of beaches and coves to enjoy an economic getaway weekend or an entire holiday on the Costa del Sol: Beaches for all tastes and to enjoy unforgettable experiences.
The image we often have of Malaga’s beaches is of areas filled with umbrellas and sun beds, but its coastline also has pristine beaches and quiet coves, and a few nudist beaches and others where can be practiced water sports of all kinds.
Playa de Calahonda, in the town of Nerja, or the beach next to the cliffs of Cerro Gordo are some of the quietest and best preserved of the entire province. One of the favorite beaches of many nudists in the area is the Playa de Las Alberquinas, which also enjoy the whimsical shapes of rocks and cliffs that characterize its natural environment.
On the other hand, in Marbella and its surroundings we also can have a great time at quiet beaches such as Cabo Pino which has excellent facilities and a marina and one of the largest campsites in Malaga. In addition to its more than three thousand metres length, Cabo Pino Beach is situated only a few kilometres from Artola Dunes Natural Monument, a unique and incomparable place from which you can admire breathtaking sunsets.
But apart from these sites and high quality of the sand, the Costa del Sol is known for its lively nightlife, celebration of music festivals and beach bars; it is a coastline that has everything to make our weekend of sun and beach or our vacation truly unforgettable.
All these beaches and coves are within short distance between them, so traveling in a rental car in Malaga is the most economical and fun way to visit them. As for accommodation in Malaga, it is very wide and varied; there are available offers to suit every purse such as rental apartments, affordable big hotel complexes with tailor made packages, as well as exclusive resorts.
